Whitemud Creek
If you ask people about the parks in Edmonton, you’ll hear all about Hawerlak and Rundle. Maybe even the Legislative Grounds. If you ask them about hiking in Edmonton, you’ll probably get a blank face. But Whitemud Creek has a beautiful trail running alongside it that’s a perfect walk for the family, and is a great way to forget you’re in the city for a few hours.
Wedgewood Ravine
I used to go walking through Wedgewood Ravine every morning before the kids got up. While I’ve since replaced my walks with more intense gym workouts, I miss how beautiful it was to be in nature at sunrise.
Exploring Edmonton
Date night. “Let’s head out and wander around Edmonton, and grab shots of Downtown.” When you live deep in the suburbs, downtown Edmonton can seem like a whole other city.
