A brochure for Northern Lung Function. More work for this client to come…
Atlanta creatives Select designed this Christmas card for their clients. I miss doing this kind of work for my agency clients. Often times Christmas is one of the few times that creatives feel like they can really open up and do something really fun and original. Makes me wish I was a client, so I could get one too.
Bryan MacNeill has done some tremendous design work in the time I’ve known him. I’ve never seen another designer that could so easily turn out such strong layouts so easily. His work with the Sofitel Americas chain, and the Los Angeles location in particular, is especially good. Be sure to have a look at the full profile of this project in his portfolio.
Michael Bierut is a star in the design world. When it comes to practicing designers, he might be one of the best known—and for good reason, too. While his work has received almost every accolade, honour, and mention that the profession has, it’s his insights into the practice of design that I enjoy the most. (His Creative Mornings talk about his clients remains an absolute favourite of mine.)
I stumbled across this at HowDesign.com. It profiles Bierut’s all-time best piece of work—a tremendously creative solution to the challenge presented by the project. Like anyone who has mastered his art, Bierut makes it look so simple and easy.
Founder Vicky Walker has been helping scientific businesses and institutions navigate complex sales processes for over 30 years. With Empor Consulting, she brings her extensive experience and knowledge to new clients. Her goal is to help her clients find their way through the maze of scientific equipment vendors and the procurement process.
I developed this collateral for a property developer in Belize. A giant, three-page presentation folder houses additional print materials that are updated frequently.
Muscle Matters is one of Edmonton’s top massage therapy clinics. I had the privilege of working with this clinic from its inception to create a rich, polished brand that is expressed in all aspects of the client experience. The distinct aesthetic and tone eschew the clichés found in competitors’ marketing. Clean, bright, and well-put-together is the Muscle Matters experience.
Landale Signs was in the middle of a rebranding effort. Its internal art department had been developing a new logo for months, but lacked the experience to carry the project forward into all of the brand touchpoints. I worked closely with the Landale Signs’ team to develop an identity system and all of the necessary collateral.
Iconsulting Financial is a financial advisory company that works with a young demographic that is typically ignored by other financial advisors. The best part of the project was the freedom to explore ideas that could otherwise have been considered cheeky, but which spoke to the target market in this case.
I designed this magazine for Edmonton’s most famous personal trainers, Body by Bennett. One side of the magazine is aimed at the general public looking to get into a healthy lifestyle. The other side targets professional athletes, who need to keep in top condition to remain competitive.
